Rebeca Hwang will outline both conventional and unconventional ways to secure deal flow, and how to build relationships early on with founders to secure a healthy and diversified pipeline. She will cover arbitrage opportunities in finding deals in overlooked geographical areas or in minority groups not typically represented in the tech world. She will also raise the question of when to engage with an investment depending on fund size or specific thesis of the investor. 

Rebeca Hwang is co-founder Rivet Ventures, which invests in companies in women-led markets where female usage, decision-making, and purchasing are crucial to company growth. Rebeca is also Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of the San Francisco-based startup, YouNoodle. Rebeca has been awarded the 35 under 35 Innovators Award by MIT Technology Review in 2013 and is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2012.
